Collateral Design: Program Marketing
Role: Art Direction and Graphic Design
Software: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Figma
Mediums: Print and Digital / Responsive Web Design

As Art Director and Lead Graphic Designer, I developed a cohesive suite of marketing assets to promote UC Berkeley Extension’s Professional Programs in Graphic Design and User Experience (UX) Design. This included printed brochures, digital banners, promotional flyers, and visuals for live information sessions—each tailored to align with the institution’s brand identity and outreach goals.

This ongoing work has contributed to increased visibility and engagement for both programs in a competitive academic landscape.

Key Contributions:

  • Maintained strict adherence to UC Berkeley’s brand guidelines across all visual assets, ensuring consistent application of type hierarchy, institutional color palette, and logo usage. Integrated ADA accessibility standards to support inclusive communication and design equity.

  • Designed and managed production of semester-based print and digital collateral that supported recruitment and engagement initiatives.

  • Created branded layouts for information sessions, stakeholders and advisory board presentations and social media campaigns to ensure visual consistency across all platforms.

  • Developed UX/UI wireframes and design components for the Graphic Design and UX Design program landing pages, enhancing clarity, visual hierarchy, and mobile responsiveness.

  • Collaborated with marketing and academic stakeholders to ensure messaging and visual tone resonated with diverse student audiences.

This project reflects a strategic blend of visual storytelling and digital usability. By integrating UX and UI principles into the broader design system, the promotional materials and web interfaces not only convey institutional credibility but also offer prospective students a clear and engaging user experience in line with UC Berkeley Extension’s academic mission.
